Zach was voted off “The Lot” on August 7th. I can’t say I am surprised as I thought his last two movies were not as good as his first few. I really wanted him to win it, because I still believe he’s the most talented, but I think when it came down to the crunch, he failed to show off his talents…

His last two movies were linked and don’t make sense if you don’t watch both (but even then, they’re not really a great story) …

After Zach’s previous movies many wondered whether he could make a movie without special effects, so Zach decided to make an “anti-special effects” film with neither special effects – or props!

“Die Hardly Working” is Zach’s best movie in the competition, if he doesn’t win I’ll be very surprised.

There is a wonderful reality show on TV here in the USA called “On the Lot.” It features a number of amateur film makers (the YouTube generation), who are competing to become a Director, backed by Steven Spielberg. The best candidate, by far, is Zach Lipovsky. Over the next few posts I will feature his short movies from the show, starting with his entry video: “Film maker attacked by aliens.”
