Personally I find these hysterical… If I didn’t, I probably wouldn’t be posting photos of my underwear and/or photos taken while I was going ‘number 2′. If you’re offended, then take heart in the fact that I don’t post stuff like this very often, don’t scroll down or don’t visit again. :)

Where I'm napping, she's napping.

The cat in the photos is called Alaska. She’s been with us since 2007 and is the daughter of one of my mother-in-laws cats. I spent a long time training her through various types of clicking and hissing and I believe it’s helped her become a wonderful addition. Alaska comes when I call her, sleeps with me, sits by my side while I work and follows me from room to room. When she was younger she would walk to my foot and tap it to be picked up onto my knee and she would sleep under the duvet with us at night. Essentially, my wife says I turned our cat into a dog.

This cannot be comfortable...

The following photos are from the last month or so when I have been going to the bathroom and Alaska has followed me, usually taking a short nap on my feet. Enjoy.

She likes to get as deep into my underpants as possible.

A little risky to go pantless, but I think I pulled it off.

The photo isn't as funny as how long it took her to actually figure out how to get in.

So regular! Twice and we haven't even cleaned up the bathroom!

I think she's just pretending. It can't be that comfortable.

Why am I taking these photos? Well firstly for my own amusement, of course. Secondly, I’m thinking of making a mosaic or collage of them and putting it infront of the toilet, this should allow others to have something interesting to look at if they ever decide to take a dump in my bathroom. I cannot wait to have the nice folks at Walgreens put that together for me…

She also likes to attack the roll while you're trying to wipe.

Chicago Air & Water Show

I went to the Chicago Air & Water Show on Friday and Saturday. Today (Sunday) I’ll be staying home and maybe taking shots if they fly over the house enough. It was my first (and second) time at the show and I really enjoyed it. It would have been nice to have seen the British Red Arrows there (who I think have far more exciting displays than the Blue Angels), but I guess they don’t fly too often over here.

Chicago - 14th March, 2008

The photo above is a stitch of three photographs taken on the edge of Lake Michigan from Chicago, they were all hand-held shots in fairly low light. Panorama Maker 4 was used to stitch and other than that, the photo(s) are unaltered. I was very worried I would be unable to adequately capture the beautiful sunrise, so I took a video just before the sun came up.

Now… Keep Still… and look CUTE!

Panoramic Sunrise over Lake Michigan

The photo above is a stitch of five photographs taken on the edge of Lake Michigan from Chicago, they were all hand-held shots in fairly low light. Panorama Maker 4 was used to stitch and other than that, the photo(s) are unaltered – that’s also why if you look closely, you can spot two stitching errors. ;) I was very worried I would be unable to adequately capture the beautiful sunrise, so I took a video just before the sun came up.

Lincoln Park Zoo Video

Here’s a video and a couple of photos from Sheila and I, featuring our trip to Lincoln Park Zoo yesterday. In the video you can see Red Wolves, Lions, Gorillas, Baboons and some Monkeys. It was a cold day (-6°f / -22°c) but it was worth it. I love the place and it’s great when it’s quiet like it was yesterday.

The Baboon didn’t seem to like Sheila very much…

Norbography

I have a friend (no, really).

His name is Todd Norbury (I know, I find it funny too, but don’t tell him). We all fondly call him “norbs”, the image to the right is a representation of what he actually looks like…

Norbs likes his photography.
