Panoramic Photos Page Added

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

I have added a page which features a random eight panoramic photos I have taken. Click the link at the top of the page (the panoramic photos page) to view all the panoramic photos I have tagged as such.

Here is an example panoramic photo, which is a 360 degree panoramic which matches perfectly from right edge to left edge. It shows Soldier Field and Chicago’s skyline.

Battleship Cove Gallery Added

Monday, May 4th, 2009

I have added a very large gallery… I have got the pics up and haven’t had chance to delete the out of focus, blurred or badly framed ones yet… So you’re seeing everything I took right now. Enjoy. ;)

Photos include: USS Massachusetts, D-Day landing craft, Cobra Helicopter, Huey Helicopter, T-28 Airplane, Hiddensee Corvette, USS Lionfish Submarine, Joseph P. Kennedy Jr Destroyer and some shots from the National PT Boat Museum (inside the Battleship Cove).

Salem / Whale Watching Gallery Added

Monday, April 13th, 2009

Salem, Massachusetts is full of very old (in U.S. terms) buildings that are really gorgeous. There’s also, of course, the ‘witch thing’.

Whale watching is also a big attraction in this area, there is a huge feeding ground just off the coast here.

These are the first photos I’ve taken up the small mountain just across the road from where we live at the moment. You can see Boston from the top – and there is also an old reservoir which Woburn used to use for drinking water.

The photos have been added to the existing Lincoln Park Zoo gallery which can be accessed here.

I have added a lot of photos taken in 2007 at Lake Katherine. There’s some really nice photos of the wildlife, including the Cicadas which came out that year. This has created a new category in the gallery, any future photos of the Lake will be found at the same link.

We’re Moving…

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

Sheila and I are moving from Chicago, Illinois to Woburn, Massachusetts. It’s a pretty big move, especially for Sheila. Sheila will be a long way from her family and knowing just how close they all are, I think it’s going to be hard for her. Things are made a little better because she seems genuinely excited and happy to be moving where we’re moving – it’s simply gorgeous – so her happiness on that front should help quite a bit.

Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum Panoramic/Photo Gallery

Friday, September 12th, 2008

On the trackside of Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama sits the Vintage Motorsports Museum. This wonderful museum is a clear sign of one man’s addiction! It’s well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.

The panoramic above is of the (main) Lotus section of the museum.
