I sometimes put my thoughts down in posts, you can see them in the motorsport category. I also take a large number of photos at races I attend, you can view those here.

My history in racing goes back to my parents. They would regularly wake me for the Australian and Japanese Grand Prix at 2-3am back in England at my request, and watching the Formula One races every couple of weeks was a family tradition.

Nigel Mansell's 'Red 5' on the side of the Williams.

I usually favored the British drivers, and obviously followed Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill, etc. When Mansell moved over to IndyCar in 1993 it was only then that I really discovered racing outside of Formula One and began to try to soak in as much information as I possible could. At the same time I took my first steps into the world of simulated racing.

Dan Gurney's AAR Eagle-Weslake and it's distinctive nose.

It is simulated racing, and specifically one simulation based on the 1967 Formula One World Championship, which made me want to learn more about the history of the sport, and now I feel as if I can hold my own in discussions with people who have been around the sport their entire lives.

My knowledge and respect for all different types of racing grew, and when I moved over to the USA I began to attend a lot more events due to my work and personal interests. I now live fairly close to Indianapolis and hope to make attending races there a new family tradition.
