At this time, these are the best photos I have taken of my fish and aquarium. At this time I had my tank in a place where I was able to use natural light (when the blind was fully opened, the sun would shine into it) and this allowed me to get some sharp images of the fish without too much effort, even when they were moving.

This first photo is a macro shot of the Crayfish. The Crayfish seemed to be able to detect the camera and froze, trying to work out what it was. This allowed me to take a bunch of very sharp images of it in this location, a couple of which I have uploaded to the gallery. The photo below has not been modified from the original.

This next photo is of a Ghost or Glass Shrimp. It’s probably the best photo I’ll ever get of one of these little creatures as in the other photos shot just before and after you can literally see the internal organs working. This shrimp is completely see-through except for those internal organs. The only modifications to the photo below is cropping.

The final photo from the large gallery which I’ll feature is this macro of a Peppered Corydoras. The Cories are prone to hiding, especially when they see a large object like a camera through the glass, so I was very lucky to get the good photos in this gallery. I guess bribing them to stay by the glass with food was a good idea! Photo has been cropped slightly.

You can view the rest of the photos, most of which are very high quality shots, here in the gallery.
