Gave up a top-3 to work Autosport. Here are the videos from the rest of the season…
Felt great to come away with a victory at Road Atlanta. Feel like I really have a handle on the Skippy like I had a few years ago (yes, years). I really had to work for the win, too. Full race: Part 1. Part 2. Race results.
This was another great race with a result that was great but disappointing. I simply could not find a way past the leader without wrecking him. I even let the 3rd-place guy past and when he got wrecked by the leader while trying to pass I decided 2nd-place was better than no place. Starting tenth and finishing second does feel good… Full race: Part 1. Part 2. Part 3. Race results.

[..YouTube..] Thanks. :) I didn’t want to happen to me what happened to the red car who I let by…I was secretly hoping that if I let them fight they’d take each other out. ;)
Even though you can clearly see a set of wings on this car, they don't really do very much. This car is a school car and actually rewards you for driving correctly; so by braking only in a straight line, being smooth with the steering and gently feeding in the throttle and brake you can really peddle this car around the racetrack. It's tendency to spin out if you lift off the throttle in the turn catches out many new drivers, but once you are experienced you can use those tendencies to your advantage and actually help yourself get around turns by lifting and then controlling the oversteer. A very popular and very fun little car. More information on this car.
I managed to get some testing in before this event and felt pretty confident in my consistency before the race. It turned out my confidence was not misplaced as I had a really fun time in the Historic British Grand Prix at Silverstone using the Lotus 79 1978 Formula One machine.
Recommended Fanatec Wheels, Pedals & Accessories While many may think the Logitech G25 or G27 to be the best wheel and value for money of anything on the market, I beg to differ. I used wheels from many manufacturers during my time at iRacing - including wheels which sell for four-figures - and although some may feel of sturdier construction, that same construction usually led to long-term problems with the equipment that for me made the price inappropriate. Fanatec are recommended by me for a reason, I use their stuff and I trust their stuff. The Clubsport aluminum pedals (pictured above) and the best pedals I have ever used. 09/2008 911 Turbo Wheel Review | Visit Fanatec.de.
Recommended Obutto oZone Configurable Cockpit - $329 as of 07/2010
Without a doubt the best value for money cockpit you will find. Where other manufacturers may charge four figures for a simple cockpit, Obutto deliver a tidy and solid frame for a fraction of that. The obutto oZone cockpit can be configured in many different ways and extra items such as the Triple Monitor mount, Acrylic Tabletop, and the Flight Stick mount can be purchased seperately. 01/2009 Cockpit Review | Visit obutto.com.
