I killed this well known Ore Thief in Vittenyn while I was mining. He warped in a few times and managed to get away into warp, so I asked one of my friends what could be allowing him to evade my warp scrambler and sent my second character to collect suitable modules I could fit to my Hulk.

I didn’t know whether he had more Warp points than me, or whether he was using ECM to block my targetting, so I fitted for both. As you can see from the Destroyed Items list, I managed to finally Scramble him because I held three points after fitting, to his two.

After scrambling him I used my drones to eat away at his ship and he exploded pretty quickly now that he could not escape.

I miss England

British Politician, John Prescott, punches a man in the face who had just thrown an egg at him. No particular relevance to posting this right now, I just felt like it.

Polar Bear Swimming

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

This morning’s trip to the Zoo may have been cut short when I felt I either had to leave or crap myself because of the Coffee I’d drank shortly before. But, I had a nice and close encounter with a Polar Bear. I’ve edited a few of my videos together, hope you like it.

Starbucks REALLY stir my stomach up!

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

You probably won’t want to read this if you’re turned off by toilet humor or brutal honesty. ;)

I went to Starbucks this morning for a cup of coffee… (Bear in mind this is real coffee, something we don’t drink that much in England, it’s very strong compared to our stuff…) I carried on walking around, taking pictures of the city, sipping from my coffee cup. I walked to Lincoln Park Zoo and continued taking pictures, then it came to leaving…

I walked through Lincoln Park and - OH MY GOD - I literally HAD to take a taxi because either it was that, or I was going to crap my pants right there. The whole taxi ride home I was farting silently - but nervously - wondering with each one whether it would be the one that would deliver wetness…

As the taxi pulled up at the back of our house, I handed him way too much money (but payment that he was probably due, considering the way his taxi smelled by the time I departed it), got out, waddled upstairs, sat on the toilet and just exploded…

I really need to learn from this and avoid Coffee entirely like I used to. I need my mum to send me some Douwe Egberts Instant Coffee from the UK…

Faithful or Neglectful? Parents pray instead of treating child (now dead) with diabetes…

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

Neglectful (but faithful) parents to an 11-year old girl in Wisconsin killed their child by praying for healing, rather than actually bringing it. Their child suffered from a fully treatable form of Diabetes.

There can simply be no other way to say it: They killed their child. They showed utter neglect. They should be prosecuted for child abuse. They are unfit to care for their other two children.

They sat by that little girl’s bed for about a month, praying. The girl, meanwhile, got sicker and sicker. Eventually, their child was dead.

So what did the parents say? Well of course they said they “did not have a strong enough faith.”

I have to ask: If you were giving your baby a bath and it slipped under the water, would you pull it out so it wouldn’t drown - or would you pray for God to lift it out and save it?

When I was 19 someone very important to me died and it was then that I knew God didn’t exist and though I didn’t really believe before that loss, when he ‘refused to help’ that’s when I knew for sure. These parents killed their child, they ‘drowned that baby’ with utter neglect that just drives me crazy.

We got our kitten…

Monday, March 24th, 2008

As I write this, the kitten is asleep on my knees underneath the computer desk. Here’s a quick video of her playing with one of her toys last night. It’s a fantastic toy, if you’d like one for your cat, you can buy it below (our fully-grown adult cat loves it, too).
