It is starting to look very much like John McCain will be the Republican Party candidate for President of the United States and I have to say, I don’t mind that too much. Although I think that as a whole the voting system is a bit weird (the person with the popular vote – who has the most people voting for him – doesn’t necessarily win the election), I think that whoever wins this time will be a welcome change, be it he or she, Democrat or Republican. My picks (as I posted this time last year) are John McCain or Barack Obama…

In any case, the American people should take note of what happened last time before the big vote.
