This post was made 2 years 7 months 17 days ago which may make some information out of date. Please consider using the search page to find something much more recent. We found a lawyer. He’s a Harvard Graduate and is only charging us $900, which he agreed to accept in a payment of $500 along with further monthly payments. Unfortunately when we were in the lawyer’s office filling out the forms we found out that USCIS increased the form fees from around $700 to a total of $1,365. So we’re currently waiting for Sheila to get her tax paperwork back from one of the companies she does photography for, once we have that we can file her taxes and hopefully get back enough to cover the fees of immigration. All the paperwork, medical, etc. are done, we’re just waiting on the money so we can afford to go through it all again… Other than the above, there’s no further information than that I gave on December 1st.
