This final play of a US College Football game looks suspiciously like Rugby to me. ;) This type of play seems very unusual in football and I really don’t understand why, if you look at the amount of easy space that can be created!
excitable commentator made me laugh! He seemed surprised – but I could see that they were going to score – even whilst not knowing how, where or what exactly was going to constitute a score! Strange game – what’s with the helmets?
There’s some allowed hits in Football that would crack heads. I think it’s an evolution of what both Football and Rugby used to have (the leather helmets).
I actually think that sometimes the protective gear causes a lot of the injury in Football, I think they should not evolve the protection rather than trying new things.
