Unfortunately most of what I do for software work requires Windows and I definitely can't afford a Mac right now.

If it was legal, I would install the Mac OS on my PC permanently. I did it before to test something for work and it functioned perfectly. Infact with Parallels (software that allows you to run Windows x86 software on an Intel Mac) I was in dream land. Windows seemed much more stable under the Mac OS environment!!

Isn't it time you came over to the Mac side?

The next Mac OS X release nicknamed Leopard is 64-bit and 32-bit compatible in one - should be quite something.
