So, I let a default setup Madden ’08 run through Colts vs Bears five times to see who won the most and what the scores were, here are the results:

84 Colts – 52
12 – Bears 28
36 – Bears 43
27 Colts – 25
27 – Bears 29

Bears win 3 games from 5, average score: 37.2 Colts – 35.4 Bears. So the Colts score more points and win the game overall.

With the team the virtual Lovie Smith picks, Hester is on kick returns still, like he was in 2006 and Olsen is nowhere to be seen… Also, Grossman is clearly the weak link in the virtual Chicago Bears team. The game (made by the folks who brought us many a crap NASCAR game) clearly doesn’t model defense in any realistic manner as the point totals in the first game are way too high.
