Very interesting comments from Dale Jr after his 3rd place qualifying run this past weekend at Infineon…
“I had been practicing on the computer at VIR and in the game, you really have to be disciplined and not try to drive real hard and just try to drive smooth. That’s what I did in the test and it worked awesome.”
“No, I haven’t been to any driving schools. I’ve just been practicing on the computer a little bit.”
Why would he have been practicing at VIR for a race at Sonoma? NASCAR 2003 must have Sonoma. rFactor has Sears Popint 1990, iRacing will have Sonoma.
Wouldn’t it be nice to know what sim he was using?
Indeed. :) Not the right time yet, perhaps. But soon, I believe. :)
