Yes, that’s right. Iran is stamping it’s feet, screaming and saying immature things about the cruel, cruel world with a shaky and tearful voice.

This time (sigh) the Hollywood movie-epic “300″, where a group of 300 Greek soldier’s held off a Persian invasion, is said to be offensive towards Iranian cultural history

Iran, wipe the tears from your eyes, turn that frown upside down and shut the hell up, because now you’re just being bloody stupid. Your “outrage” over movies that show you losing shows nothing more than weakness… I really would prefer it if someone from Iran came out and said that this was just a big joke because if you’re serious, you’re absolutely loopy.

I suppose when Hollywood studios made Platoon, the American’s were outraged?

Your country (along with the others who don’t seem to mind movies so much) has a lot of history, you should be proud that your history is being recognised by Hollywood in this way. The Achaemenid Empire were a major force in the world and you’re being recognised… Is that any worse than the propaganda you seem to be using this movie as? Why aren’t all the other countries who were a part of the Persian Empire (at the time) saying the same as you?

You are making modern Iran look weak, so weak that a simple movie can damage you. It seems the Achaemenid’s were far stronger than your modern Iran could ever be…
