If you like to be able to control your television and be within a community of others, this software really can’t be beaten. Some of the programs available are ones I really wanted to see, it’s so cool! If you can I’d advise applying to run the beta by clicking the image to the right. I’ll write a small piece (a review of sorts) in the future.

I just got my invite yesterday — and I’m as excited as you. I just think it’s about time that someone offered a serious alternative to broadcast TV, via the web. (Or, as Shelly Palmer calls it — “Over the Top”.
The best thing about Joost is that it sets a really good precedent. Anything that comes after is going to have to be really, really good — the competition will surely create some quality services.
