You have to admit that the Archbishop’s comments are probably correct, but he is actually saying more than he thinks – and he is also saying more than most news reporters are realising.

Here is a report on what the Archbishop has had to say. He is basically saying that the Governments invasion of Iraq, standing alongside a mainly Christian country like the United States, is risking the lives of Christians living in the middle east.

May I point out, that in order for Christian’s to be in danger in the middle east, there has to be someone in the middle east willing to hurt them. So, who would that be, Archbishop?

I’m not sorry for how I feel at all, I do see Islam as an aggressive and brutal religion. It perhaps wasn’t planned that way – but that (along with Christianity) does seem to be how it’s turned out. What the archbishop said is absolutely true: Christian’s are at risk in the middle east because of the war in Iraq. But, there are two reasons for that risk, there is the war and there is the Muslim’s willingness to attack innocent individuals for “payback”.

Whoever thought up the idea of worshipping books had the very best of intentions, I am sure, but they didn’t take into account how stupid human beings are.
