North Korea isn’t getting what it wants. No matter how loud they scream and cry, throw their toys around, nobody wanted to listen. So, they have now gone and got themselves a loudspeaker and a box of firecrackers. They want to be seen, and heard – that’s all.

Plenty of countries around the world have nuclear weapons, and while it’s more scary to see them in the hands of countries we don’t know or understand, I’m very sure that our having them still scares some of the good countries of the world just as much as North Korea having them does to us.

The biggest thing for me is, the last place in this world I would want to piss off is China or Japan. Sorry but, you can piss off the British, the Americans, the Russians all you like – we all fight pretty darned good (Russia especially), but China is a mighty and awesome nation.

Right now, China are standing with Japan and the rest of the world in their opinion on this test and to be honest, I never thought I’d see those guys agreeing on anything…

Tests mean very, very little. Just a few years ago France tested in the South Pacific, nobody really gave a crap… The USA tested over a thousand on it’s own soil, it has only ever launched any in anger during World War II. Testing is a threat, yes – but it could easily be a hollow threat from a weak individual.
